WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using tiny needles to create microscopic wounds in the skin. The skin around each opening remains unharmed, which results in faster healing. Once the wounds are created, the body's immune system is triggered, which rushes essential nutrients to the site to begin the healing process. As a result, old and unhealthy skin cells die and are eventually sloughed off, allowing new skin cells to grow. The new skin cells contain fresh collagen and elastin, critical proteins that keep the skin supple, firm, and youthful.
